The Annual Parish Meeting will be held this year on the 14th April, commencing at 7.30pm in the Commnity Centre, 5 Townsend Close. We would very much like it if you could join us.

The Local Government Act of 1972 places an obligation on the Parish Council to hold a Parish Meeting each year. Although this meeting is a legal requirement, and there will be a very short formal section, the Council do wish to keep it as fun and informal as possible.

As with previous years, the meeting is seen primarily as a social occasion held in conjunction with Old Parish Charities. Village organisations, clubs, groups and residents are all invited to join us and take the opportunity to meet and chat with Parish Councillors, Charity Trustees, and fellow organisation and group representatives. Drinks and nibbles will be provided.
